Maps form the central visual element of the project, combining a clear base map with colour-coded overlays to communicate flood-related information in an accessible and structured way. The information system extends across both analogue and digital touchpoints, including dynamic posters, flyers, social media content and a landing page. By focusing the campaign on a local level, the system creates a stronger connection to the immediate environment and raises awareness of potential risks within the community.

The app is the core tool for flood preparedness, providing users with up-to-date information, reliable warnings and personalised guidance before and during an emergency. Its prototype translates complex emergency information into clear, actionable instructions, helping users understand potential risks and make informed decisions when time is critical.

The digital experience is complemented by a physical emergency kit designed to provide essential information without relying on electronic devices. It includes a city map highlighting key landmarks, precautionary cards, an emergency bundle and a secure space for important documents such as identification and emergency contacts. The entire project is documented in a book, tracing the process from research and conceptual development to the final system and demonstrating the design methods, decision-making and collaborative approach used throughout the project.
